Tapered ACFoam is a state-of-the-art polyiso foam produced without the use of CFC's. Designed for use in commercial roof applications, Tapered ACFoam is manufactured for exceptional strength, using dimensionally stable facers to add rigidity to the panels. Tapered ACFoam panels are also very easy to install. Each 4' x 4' panel is appropriately marked to indicate the direction of drainage and is easily identified by a letter designation which corresponds with the shop drawings for ease of installation.     Atlas offers Tapered ACFoam products in the most popular and efficient slopes of 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" per foot systems; however, other slopes can be provided on a special order basis. Tapered ACFoam is also available with factory mitered panels, prefabricated crickets and in 25 psi formulation.     Tapered ACFoam is manufactured in a tapered profile to attain positive drainage while maintaining the highest thermal efficiency available in a tapered insulation system. Tapered ACFoam is specifically recommended for hot asphalt or coal tar BUR, modified bitumen and single-ply membrane systems.     Tapered ACFoam® Composite jis a thermally efficient polyiso insulation integrally bonded during manufacture to 1/2" perlite board which eliminates the need for cover boards or vented base sheets normally recommended over foam insulations. It is designed for use with BUR and modified bitumen, when the perlite side is installed facing up, a separation layer or vented base sheet is not needed. If the perlite side is installed facing the roof deck a sparation layer or vented base sheet should be installed over the insulation.
RubberGard EPDM Roofing Systems
Rubbergard EPDM is available in widths from five to fifty feet and can be fabricated into panels up to 200 feet in length, resulting in fewer field seams and less installation time versus other single ply membranes.      Firestone RubberGard can easily contour to unusual roof shapes. Unreinforced RubberGard membrane can elongate to over 300% of its original dimension, exhibiting outstanding thermal expansion and contraction characteristics. Scrim-reinforced RubberGard provides high tensile strength and strong resistance to tears and abrasion contributing to a durable roofing system.     The QuickSeam® Tape System from Firestone is the most advanced method of field seaming EPDM membrane. In UL-observed tests, QuickSeam Tape seams showed twice the strength of conventional splice adhesive, making them the preferred method of EPDM seam construction. The architectural specification community recognizes the performance and quality control advantages of QuickSeam Tape.
Asphalt-Based Roofing Systems
Firestone's asphalt product line diversity affords customers the freedom to design a customized high performance roofing system for their application. Whether the optimum design solution is a pre-manufactured Modified Bitumen membrane system, a standard built-up system, or a hybrid BUR/Modified Bitumen system, Firestone has a variety of Asphalt-based products from which to build these systems including base sheets, ply felt and cap sheets.     Firestone Asphalt-based membranes are engineered for dependable performance on low-slope or pitched roof applications. Depending on the membrane type, they may be installed by heat fusion, hot asphalt or cold applied adhesive.
UltraPly® Roofing Systems
UltraPly's heat welded seams are simple and economical to install, creating a durable, homogeneous bond. Firestone offers a complete line of installation accessories for its UltraPly Roofing System, including walkway pads, coated metal, bonding adhesive, seam plates and fasteners, T-joint covers, non-reinforced flashing, pipe boots and inside/outside corners.
The new QuickSeam Splice Tape is now 3" wide which means it is even easier to handle and faster to use. It is manufactured from high quality rubber polymers.QuickSeam Splice Tape is 100% solids and fully cured allowing for excellent adhesion, both on intial contact and over the long-term.
