Rubbergard EPDM is available in widths from five to fifty feet and can be fabricated into panels up to 200 feet in length, resulting in fewer field seams and less installation time versus other single ply membranes.

Firestone RubberGard can easily contour to unusual roof shapes. Unreinforced RubberGard membrane can elongate to over 300% of its original dimension, exhibiting outstanding thermal expansion and contraction characteristics. Scrim-reinforced RubberGard provides high tensile strength and strong resistance to tears and abrasion contributing to a durable roofing system.

The QuickSeam® Tape System from Firestone is the most advanced method of field seaming EPDM membrane. In UL-observed tests, QuickSeam Tape seams showed twice the strength of conventional splice adhesive, making them the preferred method of EPDM seam construction. The architectural specification community recognizes the performance and quality control advantages of QuickSeam Tape.

 UltraPly's heat welded seams are simple and economical to install, creating a durable, homogeneous bond. Firestone offers a complete line of installation accessories for its UltraPly Roofing System, including walkway pads, coated metal, bonding adhesive, seam plates and fasteners, T-joint covers, non-reinforced flashing, pipe boots and inside/outside corners.

 

The new QuickSeam Splice Tape is now 3" wide which means it is even easier to handle and faster to use. It is manufactured from high quality rubber polymers.QuickSeam Splice Tape is 100% solids and fully cured allowing for excellent adhesion, both on intial contact and over the long-term.
